Top LTTE Suspects including Gopi killed in Nedunkerny, Vavuniya

Top LTTE suspects Kajeepan Ponniah Selvanayagam alias Gopi and Sundaralingam Kajeepan alias Thevian have been confirmed as being among those killed in a confrontation between the Army and the LTTE suspects last night in Nedunkerny, Vavuniya.

According to the Army Spokesman Brigadier Ruwan Wanigasooriya the LTTE suspects had been attempting to escape from an Army cordon at the time of the confrontation.
