Minister Basil inaugurates Future Minds 2014

The inaugural ceremony of  the highly sought after National Higher Education and Career Exhibition, "Future Minds", took place under the distinguished patronage of Economic Development Minister Basil Rajapaksa at the BMICH on 6th June.

The Career Fair and Eexhibition twill be held from 6th, 7th and 8th of June 2014.  The 9th edition of Future Minds will bring together hundreds of higher educational institutes and educational services to offer the most attractive career guidance event of 2014 not to be missed by higher education aspirant students and their parents.

The Future Minds Secretariat, the organizing body of "Future Minds", by a communique has informed the dates for the Kandy edition at KCC as 14th and 15th June while the Galle Town Hall will host the exhibition from 6th to 7th September, completing its island wide circuit of expositions for 2014.

The higher education exhibition boasts of 8 long years of experience and flourishing growth, stepping in to the 9th instance on 2014, as the last step in the completion of a decade.  It marks a long journey of yeoman's service to the Sri Lankan student community as well as fostering the growth of the non-state higher educational sector. The premier Career Fair maintained its focus on creating a buzzing forum among students, parents and higher education institutes throughout its history, keeping in line with the vision of "Future Minds", "To prepare the Sri Lankan student community to the highly competitive global job market”.(KH/SI)
