Namal to grace “Blues Care” Basketball coaching camp

The Second Basketball development coaching camp under the programme “Blues Care” which is conducted by the HSC Blues Basketball club will take place in Northern Province; the camp is set out to host in the Kilinochchi District on the Saturday 4th of May 2013 at Security Forces Headquarters, Kilinochchi from 8:00AM onwards.

More than 200 boys and girls athletes from different age groups from Kilinochchi and Jaffna will participate in the skills development coaching camp and essential basketball equipments are to be donated to schools to develop the necessary infrastructure facilities required for a better basketball from the district level.

Member of Parliament  Namal Rajapaksa will grace the occasion as the chief guest and .Suren Gunawardena, Chief Executive Officer of Bharti Airtel Lanka Pvt Ltd, the sponsor for the “Blues Care” program will mark the event as the guest of honor.

This community outreach program is conducted by the HSC Blues Basketball club in association with the Sri Lanka Basketball Federation and Kilinochchi District Basketball Association. Officials from each respective organization will participate to extend their support towards the development of Basketball in Northern Province
